Anne Hilberts BMusEd, AMusA, MMTA, MVMTA
Anne is a fully qualified music teacher,
specializing in teaching piano, keyboard, composition, theory, musicianship,
music craft and aural skills, with over 25 years experience.
She completed her music degree in 1989, having gained a wealth of knowledge about both music and pedagogy. During this time at Newcastle Conservatorium, she majored in piano with the late Dr David Jones, and continued further piano studies with him after graduation. Studying performance with the renowned pianist David Jones was a real highlight, and means that she can trace her teaching line back through Gordon Watson to both Egon Petri and Busoni, who was a colleague of the famous pianist, Franz Liszt. Over the years, Anne has participated in masterclasses with Gordon Watson, Gerard Willems, Philip Shovk, Warren Thompson, Clemens Leschke, Danielle Salamon, Richard Morphew, James Muir, Gian-Franco & Natalia Ricci, Catriona Stafford, Elizabeth Jacobs, Simon Tedeschi, and Gilbert de Greeve.
Having herself learnt excellent piano technique from a master of such technique, she loves to impart this to students in their piano lessons, inspiring them with confidence through their own musical development and personal achievements.
Alexander Hilberts AMusA, ATCL.

great music lessons Wallsend.
Matthew has studied music for several years, and over that time has completed all his AMEB piano exams, finishing with grade 8 piano (traditional syllabus) in 2016. He completed his grade 7 classical voice exam in 2015. He is currently studying in the Bachelor of Arts program at Avondale Conservatorium, specialising in music. In addition to this, he is also working towards his AMEB Performance Certificate in piano.
Matthew has been teaching piano for three years, coaching both children and adults, and he particularly enjoys seeing the light bulb moments in a lesson when students really connect with their music, and get excited about their achievements!
